The Saweetie Meal

If you don’t know who Saweetie is, first of all, I feel bad for you. Secondly, you should know she’s a rapper, a McDonald’s lover, and a savant at combining foods in creative (and often questionable) ways. We convinced McDonald’s she should have the fourth signature “famous order.”

The campaign launched with this spot, directed by Hannah Lux Davis.

Limited-edition fry boxes, bags, and Saweetie ‘n Sour Sauce came with all McDonald’s orders (if you were lucky) during the run of The Saweetie Meal.

We also partnered with Brandon Blackwood to make a custom McDonald’s version of Saweetie’s favorite trunk bag. Only three exist - one for Saweetie and two we gave away to fans.

Then we put OOH above the Times Square McDonald’s, and commissioned Saweetie to make an installment of her Birkin Bratz series starring the limited-edition bag.

People embraced the meal in many ways, and we simply loved to see it.
