McRib Farewell Tour

The McRib is infamous for leaving the McDonald’s menu, but then always, at some point, coming back. This reminded us of the faux ending that is a farewell tour (Cher has been having farewell tours for over a decade). So we threw the McRib a farewell tour, leaving the finality of its goodbye up to interpretation.

This campaign became a New York Times Crossword clue, which is the best recognition I can imagine.

Like any self-respecting tour, we had merch. McDonald’s opened up their archive and let us re-print real McRib designs that ran throughout its history.
